Procedure of Termination

Once the mandatory 3 day waiting period has been met, an appointment will then be arranged at our private clinic. If you decide to proceed with the termination of the we will be with you every step of the way. On the day of the appointment you will take a tablet named mifepristone that will stop the pregnancy to develop further. At least 24 h later, and maximum 48 hours after taking the first tablet, you will take 2 misoprostol tablets at home. The tablets most often cause cramping, discomfort and some bleeding that most women describe as heavy period. Your doctor will prescribe you pain relief to assist with this. You will get a direct line to the doctor in case of need to contact during and after the process of early medical abortion. Two weeks after the process you will test to confirm the pregnancy. The Doctor will give you a specialized urine test that you can do at home.
