Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT)
Testosterone is the primary male hormone, supporting sex drive, bone mass, fat distribution, muscle size, strength, the production of sperm and the sense of calmness and wellbeing. Around a man's mid 40's or even earlier he could see a reduction in his testosterone levels by 50% to what he had when he was 20 years old. Unlike women the fall in this hormone is gradual. Usually the first sign of low testosterone is the loss of sexual performance. As years continue other signs and symptoms may possibly start to show such as:
> Mood,
> Sleep patterns
> Weight comes on easily, Digestive changes
> Brain fog, lack of mental clarity
> Fatigue with slow recovery from exercise
> Feeling not able to cope easily with everyday stress
> Loss of strength, muscle and bone mass
Unfortunately with these signs and symptoms like hese being developed slowly over the years a man could unfortunately get used to them. This hormone needs to be rebalanced.

Low Testosterone

Low testosterone can be sometimes be restored with lifestyle, diet and exercise, but unfortunately this doesn't always work the more we age. Then to help restore a mans wellbeing the most common treatment alongside other supportive care is to help replace and rebalance the hormone that has been lost. Rebalancing the body is key to wellness. Leaving a body in an unbalanced state can lead to other health issues if we do not correct it.
Treatment is effective but does require clinical investigation into how much of the testosterone hormone that has been lost and what level of therapy is needed to rebalance. This is very specific for each man.
By effectively rebalancing the body it can restore normal biological function with improvements in overall health & sense of wellbeing.
Testosterone Treatment
The gold standard in correcting low testosterone is with frequent, administration of testosterone cypionate and Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (H.C.G).
Reasoning for this is to create stable hormone levels and create balance which is what we are looking for.
Testosterone can be prescribed by gel on the skin or by injection which is taken subcutaneously (just under the skin) This is virtually a pain free process for regular administration of testosterone.
HCG is also recommended to be taken alongside testosterone for a few reasons. When exogenous testosterone is taken the brain thinks it does need to produce testosterone anymore and the testicals where testosterone primarily comes from go dormant, and stop producing testosterone. We want you to keep producing your own but just top up what was missing. To keep the testicles from going dormant we use HCG. This will maintain fertility and regulate endocrine pathways such as the HPA Axis. whilst on exogenous testosterone. And should you ever wish to discontinue therapy the testitals will be awake and ready to continue supplying the testosterone they were before prior to therapy.
